1: = Mappings = 2: 3: Mappings are formal relations between concepts in a client system and those in the CB-NL. For example ,"Bruggen (beweegbaar)" may be specified to be the same as "Beweegbare brug". There are three kinds of relations: 4: 5: * **same as**. Two concepts are actually the same, but are described differently. 6: * **subtype of**. The concept in the context ontology is a subtype of a concept in the CB-NL. The concepts are clearly related and some computational decisions can be drawn from this relation. 7: * **related to**. There is a clear relation between two concepts but this is not based on identity or type. This is a weak descriptor and no computational decisions can be drawn from it. However, for human interaction this may be a relevant relation. 8: 9: Mappings are available in the ontology by three types of RDF statements. See section on RDF>>doc:SPARQL-endpoint. 10: 11: Mappings are displayed in the viewer. This takes the form of a relation type, a set of context names, and links to context concepts. For example, for "pump" the following context mapping are available: 12: 13: 14: 15: By clicking on any context link (such as NEN2767-4: Pomp) the information available on that concept is shown. 16: 17: 18: 19: Context owners may supply a mapping to the CB-NL team. For this, the team requires a formal description of this mapping. There are two ways of supplying this formal description. 20: 21: The first method requires the mapping to be uploaded as a CSV file. This CSV file must be set up in a particular way. 22: 23: The following resources are available for this method: 24: 25: * |rel="__blank" (external link). This checks the contents and returns a ZIP file with the processed results, that can be passed to the CB-NL team for introduction into the CB-NL. 26: * |rel="__blank" (PDF, in Dutch). 27: * |rel="__blank" (PDF, in Dutch). 28: 29: The second method is to use a separate mapping tool (user interface in Dutch), which can be found here: http:~~/~~/mappingtool.cbnl.org>>url:http://mappingtool.cbnl.org//.
