Accessing the CBNL

The CBNL is an ontology, that is expressed in OWL.

Software vendors may access the ontology in several ways for integration into their software systems:

  1. Download (TTL or RDF/XML files). This requires vendors to be familiar with RDF/OWL.
  2. Query (a provided endpoint, i.e. triple store), returning a Sparql query result (several formats are available). This requires vendors to be familiar with RDF/OWL
  3. Call webservices, returning a XML representation of the information modelled in the CBNL.

See also the implemented approach to formalizing and accessing information in the CB-NL.

Web services provide a representation of the information in ten CB-NL. This takes the form of non-OWL/RDF XML documents, that comply to a metamodel.
